Does the Datel Powerboard have 'sticky keys'? (Meaning that after you push a key, it gets stuck and you have to hit the key to get it into position.)

Otherwise, I might go with the Datel Powerboard. But does anyone own a SharkBoard for GameCube?

I've heard the Power Boar does do that. I'm happy with my Happy Fun Box PC to GC Keyboard adaptor.

Yeah the keys do get stuck in the software and repeat until you hit the key again. I find this happens most when you type quickly... which is how I type darnit. But it'll like stop in the middle of a word and do like (*datel keyboard simulation commense nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo *JAM O KEY* wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww*JAM W KEY* hmmm that was nice. * end datel kb adapter simulaton) But.... I have heard from someone and tested this myself it works wonderfully if you take off the plastic case. Reason why is (this is what I have been told and sounds logical to me) the darn thing overheats in the plastic and makes it all weird like sticks keys and lags etc and mine reinitilizes itself. But with the case off and it running cooler makes it work perfect. It does get very hot we have many theories about this....

Namely we think that maybe it's cause it's getting more current than it was designed for... Anyway, keeping it cool makes it very nice and working oh and definately use a real PS2 keyboard not that evil datel thing. I'm thinking of wiring a tiny fan on the sucker and making some kind of makeshift case with darn vents! BTW I have called datel about it and they said sounds defective and ship it to us we will replace it free but when I tore the case off I was like hmmm I don't want to ship it now that it works without the case he he. Hard to give up a keyboard on PSO when ya have a working one...

I have one and it has yet to stick. I just hate how messed up that UK keybaord. Certain shift keys aren't wqhat they're supposed to be.

Alright! I managed to score enough good grades to be given the privilege of buying a modem. Very Happy

I'll try and get a HL today. If you want to play a game, or two with me, I'll be hanging out in Altair:04 or Vega. I don't have a keyboard yet, so I'll be using the pre-selected phrases or my messages will look like this: "hello everyone. i dont have a k/b." I hope to have a keyboard by this weekend.

Anyway, stop by the two previously mentioned ships and look for Dark Spy V2. I'll probably be playing all day. Razz

I didn't get my modem today, but I will get it tommorow. Called Best Buy and EB, but they didn't have Keyboards. I'll check a few more stores this weekend. If they don't have a keyboard, I'll just buy an adapter.
