Has anyone ever gotten a playable decent framerate from mario kart double dash online? I have never gotten a decent framerate. It runs, but nowhere near playable. So slow. Just wondering if anyone else out there has had any progress.

I definitely did with a guy who was in the same city as me. There was really only a slight slowdown.

So yes, it is quite possible to play a "real" game without all that slow-motion action.

Is the poor framerate something that could improve as the developers of WarpPipe tweak the software? Or is it basically what you see is what you get?

I've talked to the Developers of WarpPipe and they have said many times that the speed of the games is out of there hands now. They have optimised it as much as they can by compressing it, dropping packets etc.
The problem is the actuall game development, they arent optimised for high ping conections, so if the next LAN games are more optimised then the games should be quicker!
