GC PSO is very safe. The only way you get FSOD is if you are in a lobby where people are lobby spamming. They repeat chat symbols over and over and over and over until it freezes up. Just stay out of lobbys where there are really annoying people in them.

It is really easy to find other legits to play with as well. Just have to make a game called "legits only" or look for other games with a similar name.

Also if you are a fan of C-Mode, on the jp cmode block there are people playing 24/7. Its hard to even get onto that block its so packed all the time.

If being afraid of FSOD's is the only thing stopping you from getting online with PSO, then shed that fear because there really isn't a danger. Nothing like it was on Dreamcast.

Just to add to what Nikon said, do not join any games that say FREE RARES and related stuff. Also do not trade with anyone unless you know for sure they are legit otherwise you might get FSOD.

$8.95 a month to play the Gamecube versions (yes, the same fee allows you to play both Episodes1&2 AND Episode 3 online!).
