So i'm playing Metroid Prime, working on my Hard Mode save. Then I come across thie space pirate data entry:

"Hunter Metroid ds is showing signs of increased instability and a heightened immunity to cold damping fields."

Crazy huh?

That's a pretty cool reference you'e found there, I'm just confused since I thought that the DS was known as "Nitro" until sometime a bit before E3 2004. Also, NST is developing Hunters, so why would Retro reference a DS version of a game they wouldn't even be creating (although I guess maybe some of the scripting was done outside of Retro)? Anyways, that is very, very cool, I'm just very confused as to how it ended up in a GCN game from 2001.
