great channel and great guy, luke morse put up a nice video showing the Gamecube's Broadband adapter connecting two GC's for some Mario Kart Double Dash. thought this would be good to share:

Cool, I actually did not know u could directly link the gcs together with crossover cables. But yea unless you had 5 people it would be pointless since you can play 4 player split screen.

Not true. Some people may want a whole screen to themselves, even if there are only two players.

Yea but is it really worth losing the ability to choose your character and car to get a whole screen?

Maybe if I really want to get competitive I'll play split-screen.

I'm comfortable enough with most of the racers and carts, so getting dealt a random character and cart isn't a big deal. Getting Bowser and Toad in Wario's cruiser is among one of the highlights I have of MK:DD. Laughing

I still wonder why exactly you cannot choose your own racer and cart in LAN mode.
