What all as far as cheating is there on nintendo gamecube PSO? I heard many rumors of it just being duping items and thats it. Do complete memory card corruptions ever occur? | |||

| Well its mostly just dupes on GC PSO. There are only like one or two hacked items out on GC PSO. The best thing is that in order to actually hack the game you have to know hex code and be able to take the game apart to do it. The bad part is, just about everyone decent weapon is pretty worthless now since its been duped to high hell. It hurt the trade economy and you have to be carefull when you trade, but overall the game is still great. My best advice would be to stick with playing with freinds. Some players try to exp hog just watch out for weapons like the spread needles and the black king bar and T-J Sword. Those are the game killers. | ||||

Yup, dupes( A LOT) and corruptions do happen. It has never happened to me, but i always a have backup memory card. | |||

Yea so far IMHO, gamecube PSO seems to be the safest out of all the different versions. AND YAY! I can talk about this here without there being a flame war, cause this site is nintendo only w00t! hehehee I just had to say that. but yea xbox crashes on you, crashes like a computer, along with fsod, and then all the hacks. Dreamcast PSO was a terrorzone, however, right now, its WAY better(yes i still paly DC pso, just as much as i do GC pso. I have a Lv87 HUcast, no problems at all, and I just find friends and legits to play with and stay out of lobby01 on BLK01.
I like finding all my own weapons anyways, and knowing that all my items are real items. I don't really feel the need to have some far off weapon like right now right now. Yea it would be cool to trade but, leaving all items to be found means it makes the game funner. On DC for instance i am still looking for any type of Double Saber. I still havn't found one. Finding such ultra mega rare items extends the gameplay as PSO was meant to be played, using Duped items kinda kills the gameplay, getting items before your character was supposed to get them. Searching for the real thing makes the game 12x more exciting.  |

it is far too late for me to reject the dupes i have i have 4 characters dupes on every single one of them 3 of them in ultimate and one in normal. if it is possible for me to have a legit character id do it. but if there are any legit ppl that will force me to play with them ill do it ill just play with them only. | |||

oh duping bad... really wish ST would do something about everything wrong with all versions of PSO well probablly only GC and XBOX. like get rid of that shop lady sure people would just use other NPCs but it would be alot harder to dupe/multi equip. oh well at least when Ep. 3 comes out no one will know how to dupe but like i said before people will learn to dupe in Ep. 3 in a week perhaps. little off topic but who would honestly pay $8.95 a month just to kill everything with ur damn duped BKB and say legits are noobies | |||

It sure takes the fun out of the game very quickly. The point of the game is to FIND rares after a lot of work. Cheating sucks. | |||

I have been legit all my 2500 hours that i played the first year.
But there are not just only dupes, and there is WAY over 2 hacked items. Other cheats: AR/GS: Level 146 Code AR/GS: Level 200 Code AR/GS: Infinite HP AR/GS: infinite TP AR/GS: Change Music at Title Screen 
Easy duping Hex-editing savefiles CCA Door Always open online Fight Boss Repeteadly Lobby FSOD Trade Steal various minihacks, like arrow over your head in lobby I don't use cheats at all but you have to have some insight to protect yourself. |

I just play with legits. I have had 0 problems. On dreamcast that was my same philosophy. I just do NOT play with sharkers ever ever ever. My dreamcast character v1 lvled to 100 unscathed. I never run into FSOD and never have problems ever. As long as you play with the right people its all good. | |||

That's the way. i play only with swedes I know on the swedish block. it feels good. I've been corrupted once though. Sad story. Last easter, I searched for eggs in 60 hours. Then at the end, the Eu servers went down without notice. You get disconnected after pressing ship select. If you do it to fast it is still saving AND is saying Disconnected PRESS START. I pressed Start and loosed 600 hours playtime. I didn't play much for months but i have got evrything i had by that point again. i was at level 130. Now i'm 200! =D On plus im gonna start a new one.
