Ok so I am playing some PSO tekking tons of items at the moment. On my primary character LordNikon my bank was getting rather full. 192/200 Items in the bank. So i had to do some cleaning. I took a large amount of mesata and over the past 45 minutes tekked so many items. And its like a JOB, it takes sooo long to tek items. Trying over and over and over again to get the item actually tekked properly. However even though it takes a long time to tek the items, the reward is suprising. Just look at all of the great weapons I yielded by taking the time to get an accurate tek on unknown weapons:

Arrest Buster +3 (Dark: 20%)
Arrest Buster +4 (Native: 20%, Machine: 25%)
Havoc Pallasch +2 (A.Beast: 20%)
Frost Pallasch (Machine: 20%, Dark: 30%)
Shadow Gladius +6 (Dark: 30%)*
Seize Claymore +1
Seize Claymore +1
Drain Claymore +2
Soul Claymore (Native: 35%)
Flame Claymore +2 (Machine: 15%)
Burning Edge (A.Beast: 30%)*
Seize Edge (Native: 25%)
Riot Glaive
Gush Berdys +4 (Native: 20%)*
Gush Blaster +1
Flame Beam (Native: 30%)

Items with a * were ones that were really good finds. These were all accurate teks, aka when you hear that chime sound to show you got the correct identity of the weapon.

Tekking does take quite a while if you want to get it just right. I don't even bother with that unless it's a rare.

I never knew about that charm thing. That's interesting, usually I just pick up the unidentified weapons, tek them, and sell them. I need the cash.

Claymores are the red glowing swords, in the same category as a pallasch saber. Anything listed in that list without percents is a non-photon indusive weapon. Meaning it shows up with white text in your item list rather than green text.

So you must be a know-it-all of tekking by now. What's the max % you can add to an untekked weapon. EX: Yamato-5% hit. Could it go up to a 25% hit or even up to a 35%? Does anyone know the limit? I've never correctly tekked a rare weapon and I need to tek this right since I've been using a Musashi+40 even in ultimate seabed.(been waiting to find a yamato with decent percents, actually this is the first one I've found)

The stats can vary by 20% on each stat that indicates a percentage. For instance if you first start out tekking your weapon...

and it says 10% A.beast, it could be 10% or 30%

then you try again and it says -5% A.beast, it could be -5% or 15%

then if you try again and it says -10%, then....

that means your weapon is 10% A.beast

The difference between the highest number and the lowest numerb you found for the percent was a diff of 20. So then you know 10% is the correct stat.

Also be aware...both the type of weapon and the grind of the weapon can be factors as well. A special buster could change from a Lord's Buster, to a Master's Buster, up to a King's Buster.

So jsut gotta keep saying no, pay the guy 100 mesata, then retek it...over and over and over and over again, until you see the right result. When you tek an item correctly, a little chime sound will go off.
