Whooo hoooo your getting a router. Very Happy Your job will be much easier now. Very Happy As long as you get your router setup properly, connecting gamecube is a snap. SO easy. All you have to do is set the cube to auto detect settings, and your done. Plug it in and you should be able to connect :]

Plus since you will be on a LAN interface now, you can setup PSO Proxy on your computer, and send snapshot images from your cube over the network to your PC to be converted. Then upload them to your private gallery here.

Don't worry about asking too many questions Smile its why the support forum is here...for support. Wink

MCRing_Ring....do you know about adjusting the sharpness in the PSO Proxy ini file? Open the 'proxy.ini' file into notepad. Under [snapshot] look for 'sharpness=' and change the value to 2. So it looks like this:

[snapshot]
dir=snapshots/
vdir=/snapshots/
gamma=1.200000
sharpness=2

Check out my personal user gallery and see how clear the images look, it really improves the images.

Well..this is great but since I spent the money on the Internet, the broadband adapter, Soul Calibur II Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Now I'm planning on getting the router in like 3 or 4 weeks.
Since my modem came with a usb and ethernet connection I was planning to connect the modem with the USB and the gamecube with the ethernet. If I do this I have to activate ICS right??
And does my computer have to be ON everytime I'm gonna play??

You have a router? You should be able to set all the IP fields to 0.0.0.0 and have it auto detect settings. And then you should be able to get online. Try that, it should work if you have a router. What kinda router do you have?

My router is a D-Link. The model is DI 604. I have tried to detect the settings but I still keep getting error 201: can't connect to server, please check your settings and try again. Sad I have also tried manual settings but to no avail, I don't think I am putting the right settings in. I called the manufactuer and they said to hold the reset button on it so the default factory would come back, I will try that tommorrow. If you have any info, Please Help!
