A milestone in my pso gaming experience. Well offline I made it to Ultimate. On dreamcast I had never played version 2 before. So I have never actually played Ultimate before, ever. Nor have I ever seen it being played before. So I beat Falz offline on very hard at Lv77 with my HUcast 'LordNikon'.
I start up Ultimate mode. WOW everything is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy diffferent. Ep1 Pioneer 2 looks like the game broke, dead serious. Not a huge fan of its look. And then i go down to Ragol for Forest. Once again, everything is WAYYYYYYYYY different. LOL Its like a completly different game! Ultimate mode is not as hard as I thought it would be. I know online will be a lot more challenging since there is a difficulty spike in all online related gameplay. Here is what I started Ultimate with: (100% completly legit) Hucast: LordNikon - SkyLy Lv77 MAG: Varaha Lv200 (DEF:30, POW:140, DEX:30, MIND:0) Gladius +2 (Native:25%, Machine 30%) Guardian Armor (4 slot) -Dragon HP -Metal Body -Metal Body -Metal Body Spiritual Shield I just got 2 forest 2 as i am typing this post. Feel free to reply, but don't drop any spoilers about other wierd crazy new features in ultimate, i am enjoying the suprises and the new experience. It rules! |

Congrats on getting to ultimate! I just got my RAcast to ultimate too! Zeiram Wing is lvl 73 and he's got a 4 slot holiness armor (that was one hell of a find) Secret Gear, a justy and a pushan mag (had no idea i could make one of these!) i won't spoil anything for ya, but i will say ultimate sucks! not in the bad way, but the hard way.
By the way, do you have a force character? I made one a while ago, and kept all the techs and force items i found with ZW, and now she can rip up anything in ultimate, and she can lvl like mad! she's lvl 101, and she's not even supposed to be my main character! with a good mind mag and decent techs forces are a... well... force to be reckoned with. just drop tons of cash on em and lvl a pure mind mag. the best i can make are a 15 def, 185 mind, but it takes time. gotta love ultimate exp! |

Woot! Woot! gratz once u get to 80 we can go to Ult together. in my opinin though forest ult is pretty easy i pwned boss. but caves monsters still kick my *ss at lvl 106! anyways post when u get to 80. now im really excited. anyways i didnt know Ver. 1 didnt get Ult did u get lvl 200 or was it just 100 back then?
well i best be getting on PSO hopefully now i can beat at least Challenge 6 (damn T-storms) |

| the only thing i dont like a bout ult, forest, is look at how much exp you get for killing the dragon on normal, and compare it to the exp you get from just killing a normal monster, petty sad seeing as how in the beginning, that dragon was the best way to get exp, but now its a joke. | ||||

Yea it was llike 10:00 AM, I finished Forest, then went into caves, and it was way harder rofl. I got bitch slapped within 5 minutes.
Hey but check this out, then i wanted to see if there was any difference in Ep2, so then i go to VR Template Alpha, but then I realize I put all my weps and mag in the bank. ALl i had was my defense armor and shield. So i ran around like a maniac, then busted open a box. THERE WAS A RARE IN IT! hahahahahhhaha just screwing around and i just stumble over a Last Survivor. I turned around and was like, AHHH HA!!!!!!!!!!!! take that!...and that!....and this!...and that! Then i hit quit and went to sleep because it was 10:30 AM. |

Went to sleep at 10:30 AM? I'm lucky if I can wake up that early... Ult is a pain in the butt for characters just starting in it... I havn't gotten to offline ult with my hunter yet, but online ult owns his lvl 82 ass. | |||

Ultimate is really cool. Everything looks different, and the enemies are a lot harder. I got to it on the DC, but I never beat it. | |||

I did make it ultimate on Ver2, but, when it comes to GC, I never got to. I know why too... First I imported PSO GC, but you heard the dupe bug, so it didnt connect to US servers. So I got US version, but I couldnt afford the damn HL every month. So I got fixed JP copy, yea, I was able to convert my char from old JP release, but he sucked! I got fixed JP release for cheaper HL, and so that cheap HL would work on EpIII and EpI&II. That's my sad story. And another tip for you all. DONT BUY FROM BUYRITEGAMES.COM!!!! Ok, back on topic. Congrats on making it to ultimate legit. Especially offline. I hate offline, so I'd never do that! What level were you when you defeated Dark Falz in vhard? |
