I'm assuming our prefered method of tunneling here at OC is XLink Kai. I have downloaded the software and attempted to get it working, but I'm not quite sure how I'm supposed to configure it and connect to a match. If someone could post a guide or at least give me some tips on how to get it to work step by step, I'd be appreciative.

Thanks.

The LAN games do not have any network configuration options. They merely connect to the local network and automatically grab an IP address. You will need to connect your gamecube to your Local Area Network (LAN), which means you will need to use a router or ICS. More information can be found at the following guide:

http://gamecube.onlineconsoles.com/phpBB2/guides_getonline.php

As far as XLINK you can reference the section on this over at the PS2 site for now:

http://playstation2.onlineconsoles.com/phpBB2/guides_getonline.php#6

Just omit step 4 which specifically relates to the PS2.

Eventually I will append the GC site's online guide with XLINK information.

I can help you as I recently set my Gamecube up with Xlink, the easiest way is to connect it directly into your router and create a static ip adress, may also need to do some port forwarding.

If you can tell me what you have done and what's is happening I think I could help you.
