Wow, this is interesting. I ended up with 2 copies of Super Mario World for SNES because of thrift stores. I was organizing my games and happend to have both copies side by side. I noticed that the artwork is slightly different. They have the same picture, but on one is larger and the blue background is noticeably darker. I looked around on the carts and found that the one with the larger artwork/ darker blue background says "SNS- USA". The copy with smaller mario and yoshi/ lighter blue backround says "SNS- USA/CAN"

I wonder why they made 2 different versions of the artwork for the USA and Canadian version?

Perhaps they thought Americans wanted a larger more in your face mario on the cover, while Canadians wanted meeker smaller mario with lighter colors? lol
