i was thinking about trying to get some oc ppl and making a "clan" type thing... and then have other fourm sites making their own "clans" and having like a whole big war. A WAR OF THE FOURM SITES! how cool would that be? would any1 join if i put the effort into creating this whole thing?? let me know | |||

| I made a guild on PSOWorld. I remember guild wars in the day of EQ..... ahhhh the memories. But yeah like do battle mode or something? Cause us driods suck bad if you do rule 6. | ||||

I thought i would give this thread a shot, trying not to kill idea's prematurely, but my vote is a NO.
Well to kill this real fast I would just like to say. Clans and "Wars" and whatever is just a huge mess. What are we gonna spam each others forums, and act like little children having a mudfight? I can tell you its not gonna happen here. Anyone cought starting any shitlike this will get banned. I don't need these forums becoming a huge mess, because people want to go around antagonizing other's. It accomplishes nothing. I find it unbelievably hilarious how people get in heated namecalling arguments in PSO lobbies, resulting in lobby spam, and people just yelling and getting all worked up. FOR NOTHING. Seriously after an hour of typing "your stupid, your an idiot, no you are, ass!, oh yea well..., i'm gonna kick your ass, blah blah blah blah blah blah" Wasted time. Could have been gaming and having fun with some friends. Instead just wasted an entire our getting into some ego contest with an insecure moron. Think about it, PSO is a co-op game.......clans are created in games like Quake and AVP2 etc etc so people can play against each other and have tournaments. Clans in PSO really do not serve a purpose. Its a co-op game. Hey if people are down to start some Kirby/Mariokart/StarFox clans for when these games get tunneled, fine, nothing wrong with that. Having MarioKart clans would be pretty cool, cause people would be gaming, not having a "war". I hope people get my point. |

i only have read bits a peices of yalls comments (cuz they got stupid)
but to adress some of the questions... by war i mean a war, like teams of ppl getting together from each forum and fighting another forum. but bashing on another forum would happen.. but we at oc would have the class not to respond and to start "fighting threds". it would be purly for fun... on the flip side we could just do it within oc. and just have like major Tourniments for pizes or somthing.. i don'tknow.. i was just trying to make the game of pso more fun till sega does cuz right now the game is getting boring (in my oppinion). the game seems repetitive and stupid cuz of the same old quests and hacking/duping... but i could be the only one out there who thinks so. o well |

I think reading why it'd be killed quickly was longer than actually killing it... I agree though, it's sorta pointless to do it in a coop game. The battle mode is only so deep, it's not like some games where it was designed to be deathmatch from the ground up, with coop added in near the end. Infact, it's the absolute opposite... |

If it was something like 2VS2 a team from each clan in battle mode then I would join. |

I'll pass. The only way of really fighting in PSO is battling and I don't really like to battle. I don't like clans either, I just talking and hanging out with people in the game. | |||

I know some people have battle mode tournements and I agree the battle mode isn't all that good. Maybe I saw this wrong but when I saw clan I thought more like a clan than an army that battles. Clans/Guilds whatever you like to call them aren't based solely on fighting others. In many games guilds are nothing more than a bunch of people that like to play the game a certain way.
I know I bring up EQ alot but I think it is still a great game and so far nothing IMO has come close to what it is. Guilds in EQ occasionally had wars or at least some did. Others were just there so you could find someone you knew or someone kinda in your family. Like an aunt, uncle or cousin etc. If you were in the same guild as another they were easy to reach (pso would be guild cards) and almost always willing to help you out. IMO a guild is nothing more than a bunch of friends that help eachother out or join forces to help others. Fighting and then spamming someone or constantly bragging about it is childish. I guess I think of guilds as more of a team. Some people are better than others in certain areas but when they all work together they make a sight to behold. Kinda like football heh. We have rangers, forces and hunters. And any hucast out there know that life sucks without s/d. I am lvl 141 and I still can not do ruins online ult!! Lately I have been playing alot and I can't find anyone on to join up with. I don't go on vega and I spend literally hours searching for games that are not locked just to have someone else to play with. I can solo things offline but if I go online it's cause I would like some company. If nothing else I'd just like a big list of people so I could find someone online and play with if they are free. Hopefully this Saturday I can get on and get some of ya'lls guild cards. I hope this clairifies where I stand on guilds. Sorry for it being so long. |

Coupled with my "take no shit attitude" from cheaters, this will make this site a practically an all legit site. I was having difficulty finding gamers at other websites, simply because they are more concerned about site hits, and registered user stats than providing a quality gaming experience. I have a lot of your all's guild cards, I usually find atleast 1 person online everytime I sign on. Thanx to Satoshi's efforts in posting this event on this upcoming Oct 11th, things should be even better with everyone getting each other's guild card's.  |
