Have you guys noticed that SEGA and/or Sonic Team USA have become very lazy in the way of informing us (the customers) about upcoming quests, server maintainers and general PSO content?
I am forced to rely on a unofficial website (www.pso-world.com) for PSO server and content updates. The website you can access threw the PSO game disk is one of the worst…It almost seems that SEGA (the site owner) has completely forgot about it. There have been 4 quests since the last update, which was back in June. Also the announcements board that SEGA is suppose to use to inform us on upcoming quests and server maintenances has not been used since March…there have been loads of server maintenances since then. What about “Top News”, the window that pops up when you log onto the PSO servers, Minhiro is “old news”! I think that pop up window could be used a lot better since we have no choice but to see the window at log in. What about Minhiro? I guess it’s updated but then again its run by Sonic Team Japan. PSOW is a lot more reliable the minhiro. To me at leased

Well, I dont play the US version of PSO...so I cant comment. I know when I did play the US version, the site sucked. So did the message boards there.
But, about your pop up window when you log into PSO. Your more lucky then me, if your language setting is English when you go on with the JP Version of PSO, it tells you nothing except when your HL is over. Now, if your setting is Japanese and you go on, it's like totally updated. I wish it was that way when your language setting was English, but oh well. I get all my news from the Japanese PSO site using a site translator. I would try that if you want offical updated news. |
