So I was doing the quest 'The Fake in Yellow" the other day and for the first time I encounter a Pal Rappie. So I kill all the rappies around it and it gets close to me and exactly when I am going to use Resta it hits me and I die. I go back and its not there. I got so pissed I turned off my GC. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Man thats so horrible. Who knows what that PAL rappy might have dropped you. Man, we'll hook up and go PAL rappy hunting online and see if we can find one Very Happy That's crazy though. I do that so many times, battling thinking I can drop a few more attacks before using a monomate or resta, and bam!, sure enough, I judged wrong...and the screen goes red.

that must suck. wonder why ST did that though, with enemies that drop from the sky. If you leave that area with a Hilde monster or a rappy it disappears. if they hadn't done that there would be no such thing as the telepipe trick which so many people use to find rares Confused

Well, the rare enemy will stay there in an online game. The enemy data or whatever is saved on the server in an online game, so that when people join/leave/die or whatever, it's still all in sync for every player. In offline mode, however, it doesn't need to do that because there's nobody else, besides, the enemy AND item data probably wouldn't fit in RAM. The items and locations do stay though, which is kinda cool. Even in multiplayer offline, though, the enemy data isn't saved, that's cause you're still offline and whatever can be, will be cut to save resources in offline multi.

I saw an Al Rappy in C-Mode. Didn't bother to get the item from it. I like Love Rappy's better though. Oh yeah, what difficulty were you playing?

Double post, might wanna fix that.

I, too, saw an Al Rappy in C-Mode, we all tried to kill it. Well, all but one person. He kept saying that we were wasting time. He was right... lol We couldn't kill it, it was too darn strong.

They do, but they're extremely rare. Imagine if a Hildeblue appeared in c-mode... And you had to kill it to get past the area, that'd suck so bad.
