Yes, you read that right.
I was playing PSO during the meeting, and, you know something, we were talking. Since I used dupes before hand, me and the admin...well.we fouught kinda. But, everyone made some good points. Dupers, even if you dont dupe, still ruins the balance. And after talking to some other legit friends, they agree. So, I decided to turn over a new leaf, and try the game legit. The way its supposed to be played. Kiki, LordNikon, I'm sorry about that whole deal. I was being an ass... Anyway, I'll talk to you all later. |

It sucks that you're starting over. But it's good that you're going legit. Good luck, it's always tough starting out. Maybe I could create a new (read: entirely legit) character too, to level with you? I don't play much though, so you'd probably sky rocket ahead of me level-wise. lol
By the way, you should probably choose a new class, one you havn't played yet. It'll make the experience a little better for you. |

hmm, problem is, I've played almost every class except Rangers. I never liked Rangers.
I'm going to stick with a HUmar. I've used HUmar in PSO DC, but, I always used dupes, so, the experiance will still be fresh and new. If you want, you could start over. I would like to play with you |

np man its okay. but i really shouldn't have, whats the word, pressured you into being legit just saying that using dupes gets real boring. im making a new char soon once my bros friend gets a GC i can delete his chars and ill try and play him/her alot | |||

Yea I wasn't trying to come off like I was rude or anything. Just that playing with user's who activily use duped items alters the gameplay. So much so that the duper's really don't realise it ever. Its the legits that suddenly get slammed with striking differences in gameplay. For instance:
In many games I have played with dupers, I am breaking open boxes looking for items, and I get left behind. Not only do they only care about exp, but do not take the slightest courtesy to wait for me. More often I run across dupers where EXP is the only objective, and working together as a team is out of the question. Many do not know how to feed their mags, or even use support at all. One HUmar I ran into once was Lv56, and I was using my HUnewearl, and I shot a fireball at an enemy. The HUmar said "I wish I could do that", I replied with "your joking right?".....he didn't know he could use techs. I could probobly go on and on here ranting, but what it comes down to is, duped items alter the players gameplay style which intern affects the gameplay of a 4 player co-op game such as PSO. If a duper is using a lv200 sato mag with a Black King Bar, and I am using my HUnewearl, it would be fun to us Shifta & Deband, however since their damage rate is so monstrous, the enemies fall so quickly they do not lose any HP. Using S&D would be pointless. Its situations like this where, the use of duped items begins to eliminate facets of the game that would otherwise be used. Hence detracting from the fun factor of the game, for those that wish to play it this way. Legit gameplay allows for one to actually play the game as it was meant to be played. using strategy, team gameplay, and multiple different tactics of playing quests and teaming up with section ID's to aquire your desired rares. It gives a pso gamer 12x more things to do in the game. Nothing I have listed here directly refers to you Linkooseven, i am merely stating my personal feelings on why I am so stern on trying to play with legits. I just like to play PSO the way sonic team intended it. This is where I have the most fun. May I just say Linkooseven, starting a legit character should prove for some fun times, and will give us a lot more to discuss and talk about here at onlineconsoles. I have 3 characters currently. I was even thinking of starting a Force character. I have been seeing the hi-level technique attacks, namely Fire and Ice and the visual effect is quite awsome. So I might start lvling a FO sometime soon as well. Regards, -LordNikon |

It wasnt you guys directly that made me change my mind. I will admit, listening to you guys did partially make me want to a change a bit, it was also afer talking to my other friend, Andy, who has been 100% legit even since PSO Dreamcast.
I know being legit, leveling from the beginning is going to be hard as hell. But, maybe that will be part of the fun. Like I said, I've been using dupes and such since PSO Dreamcast, and even though I hid my feeling that it was getting boring...it was. I could just go in and kill everything, which just wasnt that fun. Especially when playing with legits. I felt like such an EXP hog. Gave me a bad reputation with the legit community. It's a shame it took me 2 years of PSO to realize this. My objective in other games before PSO was to be most powerful, and that carried over to PSO. So when people online offereed me the 200 POW mags, ultra powerful weapons, I took them like hot cakes. It make me not suck! Little did I realize, even though not cheating myself, I still was helping in ruining the balance of gameplay. I think that last comment was the one you guys said to consider me changing my mind. It's cause you were right. God I make so many mistakes at 14 
Anyway, thanks for the welcome. It'll be nice when I am not lv.1 (havent got to play yet since I posted this, friends been playing.) Which btw, if the character name is not "Matt" and its either "Ryu The III" or "Terragoth" then its not me. And he plays the exact oppisite of Legit Lv. 33 with the Yamagarsu and Black King Bar doing 700 damage. Sigh, that used to be me...
Anyway, hopefully we can all play happily now. I hope my new playing method with prove the game fun again! See ya! ~Matt |

Hey man!!. Congratulations on starting to play legit. I was beginning to think we would to battle mode to settle things yesterday. 
By the way Nikon starting to use a Force is hard and legit is even harder. Trust me I know. Whats up with nobody mentioning my name around here?
