Well I got all my sound stuff hooked back up and was going to play a round of PSO before lunch. I decided to listen to mp3's and hunt rares in temple ult. I piped with my hucast about 30 times and decided to just beat the level so beat every room and searched every stinking box. I got a crapload of materials about 8 total. And the only thing I found was a ice staff dagon in a box... But I was killing everything in 1 combo excpet for the indi belra's (unless my mag shifta'd me)
I was amazed I actually could kill things since last time I played it couldn't do beans. Anyway, I started yelling at the worm man cause I could only get 2 combo's in with my slayer before he went back into the water but he finally died and I almost fell outta my chair when I saw a red box by his corpse! Finally!! Once in a great while my game decides to drop me something that my main Nester (143 hucast) pinkal.... can actually use. He dropped me an Asuka! No % but no matter at least I found something decent. I don't like EP2 cept for cca stuff (jungle seaside etc.) so I next to never play it but all I hear from my friends are that is where the rares are at and since I can actually do damage now without shifta maybe I'll play some more. On a side note I remember reading a topic where someone asked if you piped and I'll just throw in I have piped for total about 3+ hours pretty much all of it was in the offline fake in yellow in ult trying to get a pal rappy to drop agito. I got about 4 pal's and none of them dropped. But when I first went to ult offline like lvl 60 at the end of forest 1 a pal rappy appeared and dropped me an agito (1975 orotiagito that is) but haven't got one since. |

-TheMytho I have found rares during quest's before. They do drop. I found a Custom Barrier ver.00 in the east tower quest, as well as some others that i can't remember exactly. Congrats on your rare nester  I found a Meteor Cudgel in Ult Ruins offline on saturday night. |

| Is Asuka the red Musashi? My main weapon is a Musashi+40 and its not too shabby for ultimate....but man...I really need a meteor cudgel. It'll look so amazing on my character. My character is a pink HUcaseal with a blue savriti mag....atleast i found god/mind and one of my most wanted items: god/battle during the forest ult offline today. | ||||

Like Nikon said you can find rares during quests. What the hell is an Asuka and a Meteor Cudgel?

Asuka is the red musashi and a metor cudgel is like a pole with blue circles on the end.... Just go to PSOWorld and check out the pics here is a link to the weapons. Link to Weapons pics
BTW, it was true in the DC version that you could not find rares in quest but in GC you can. That's why fake in yellow is so popular with rappy hunters. And right now TTF is popular cause of exp and the fact that you can hunt rares from boses much more quickly since you get to flight 1/2 or 1/3 of the level before you kill the boss. |

In Ver2 rares didnt drop in quests.
In EpI&II that was changed. |

Most people don't seem to like Episode 2 much, and I can understand that because of the difficulty. However, I like Episode 2 much more than Episode 1 just because of the variations that you find from room to room and level to level. The layout of each level is very carefully planned. | |||

| Well on DC rares weren't in red boxes and they dropped in basically every room. But all of them were db sabers and varistas. So its not like there'd be anything good to get anyway. | ||||

Wrong, ive gotten many rare's during sidequests(for example, on the quest with mome in the mines, i got tails from de rol a, and in a ruuins sidequest i got a stink frame from a dark gunner) | |||
