Read that thread....apparently me posting a reply...to my own originally created thread...is against their forum rules. Why don't they just lock all their old topics? I guess they like the frustration of having to PM gamers about posting ------- 2 rules at pso-world Spam/Repeat Threads Disruptive Posts/Bumping 1 states that repeating a topic is against forum rules. Yet...if you attempt to follow this rule...and post in the thread if it is old then it supposedly violates the rule of "disruptive posting". Said rule at pso says NOTHING about posting in an old post is disruptive or bumping. These 2 rules conflict one another. Also the vagueness of disruptive bumping should be clarrified. It mentions nothing about older posts. Also how old can a post be before it's deemed too old? Why not just set up a script to auto-lock a post after it has had no replies in a given time period. Or an auto-prune of old post's if this is how pso-world is to be run. ------- My frustrations with the poorly run pso-world as the illegid "largest" pso community on the internet have left me....bitter and angry. Not only did they drop dreamcast from their site completly not supporting it in ANY way besides what was in their items database, but they also are now stifling users form adding any shred of time or history to their conversations at pso-world. The pso world onlineconsoles team has been removed. I do not feel I wish to affiliate with them or their msg board system anymore. I am registered on enough forums as it is...and it's not worth my time to cope with any situation. This is a personal decision, please do not let my actions or opinions influence your choice or want to continue to interact at pso-world it is a good pso website in many ways. I will continue to reference it for item info and news and such, but interacting with the site in a creative way will not continue anymore. Thanx for reading. If you got this far.  |

Sounds like the mods at PSOW are getting like the mods at Gamefaqs. Assholes, simply. I cannot blame you for your discision. Luckly for me I don't often post at PSOW, except the EpIII section. |

Well Nikon you know how I feel about PSO-world anyways from what I was saying about them last nite. Gamefaqs sucks big hairy balls too. All that's on there are immature little kids that post topics so when we try and post there all it does is start flame wars and petty arguments and such. PSO world to me, is a good source of information but a lot of their info needs updated and the website takes forever to load. I really try avoiding that site as much as possible.
Message boards such as these, like OC and another one I'm afilliated wtih, ArmadaWeb, with all my other friends, before I met you Nikon of course, are so much better because it's run and used by people who know one another and play with each other and we all can help each other if one of us has a question about anything or we can set up times and places to play with each other and we can basically talk about anything we want from PSO up to any kind of game out there for any system. Being free to express our feelings and to post messages is basically a way to put our feelings or jot infomration down to help others, it's not "given" to us by the powers that be like some sort of Message Board God, it's just really how we say things and don't abuse or hurt anyone else in the process. It's all just common sense when it comes down to it, and to me, with that incident over at pso-world, to me, it seems like people who have some sort of power, always seems like they love to abuse it and make people who have good intentions suffer. Any of this make sense? lol, sorry. |

nikon that is a very good point you have there. i always am thinking why they hate bumping oldies and they also hate making a topic already made its stupid! i wont even go on. |

| This guy named anthony kept spamming lobbies so some guy made a post about it. then anthony said some stuff like he was an evil villain or something. I said, "last year everyone wanted to be black, this year everyone wants to be gay. anthony somehow combined the two. oh he's good O_o. first anthony was acting all black then he started acting gay. some other guy got banned too but he didn't even say anything that bad. but there were ppl with high number of posts and they said that anthony ate choad, and some even posted their addresses so they could fight him(halirious right there)yet they didn't get banned. | ||||
