Is there a web browser, or can you only visit the sites that games link you to?

I havent heard ANY way to surf the web on your gamecube.

Sometimes I wish I was a programmer...I'd make one!

Maybe i'll goto college and be a programmer, but I got much more HS to complete first Wink

Anyway, back on topic. I heard a rumor that you could surf the web on it, but I tried the trick and it didnt work.

Well, I was just wondering about downloading content from sites directly to the GCN memory card. That's my reason for wanting to surf the web with the Cube.

I have always said surfing the internet with my ascii kb would be a dream!!!!! The fact that PSO has a browser in the game, gives hope that someday someone might sacrifice their time to work on a gamecube web browser. It would be schweet! Very Happy

You'd think Nintendo would want to make money off browser software...

If it deals with online, Nintendo don't want anything to do with it...Sad

Good point, but I think that they will try to expand into the online market soon.

I actually got to google.com once, but I was screwing around with PSOProxy, and then a DNS program or something. I ended up putting www.google.com as the news server or something weird like that. I could search, but I couldn't go to any of the results.. The browser tries to keep you in the domain it started in i think.
