According to a very poor source at PSOW(I say poor as some people there are big liars) people are starting to get banned for using hacked items such as TJ-Sword and some level 1304 mags or the red ring, but the really strange thing is all the people being banned are on PAL. Is ST taking action? or is it just some sort of bug?

woah this is fucking awsome if its true  Plus all those people on psow saying they are legit and got banned. All I have to say is, if you accept items from others then you could have dupes that you don't know about. Just because you ignore the fact that your rares might be dupes...doesn't make a gamer legit.
Now if I go online, and I get that screen. Then its a glitch heheheheh. But I bet someone finally figured out how to see the difference between a duped item and a found item. Man. Sonic Team will get so many praises if this is true. PSO WILL THRIVE LIKE NEVER BEFORE! |

Wow....This is awesome but the bad thing is that when i started playing I traded some weapons like the last survivor, flowens sword and all that and i don't know if what they gave me is duped.
I'm scared...LOL  |

Hmmmm....interesting. If they are actually trying to enforce banning then starting on the PAL versions would probaly be the best idea(I'll just assume they make up the smallest population, right?). If something like this was passed throughout all of pso then like 95% of the players would've gotten banded. |

I hope they start doing something.
Problem is, even though I play legit, my friend uses all the bad hacks, like 1304 mags and stuff. I dont want to be banned cause of his stupid ass.... I should tell him go legit or dont play my game..... |

Same here... my bros (and I, unfortunatly) possess items that may be duped... My question, though, is how can they find out? I thought there wasn't a way... hm, this is interesting. Both good and bad, especially since people who may not know that they recieved a dupe in trade may get banned. | |||

i dont think they can detect dupes, but if a lvl say 30 is running around PSO with a BKB they are gonna get suspicious | |||

You never know though. Maybe the EUR sega reps really did figure out a way to detect users using duped items. Like a minor code glitch that is added to the weapon when it is duped. And they could be testing it in europe before sonic team would take the initiative to use it in JP and US....just a theory hehe. I could easily be wrong. | |||

I have not confirmed this but my friend told me that one of his friends got banned. He told me it was the US version.    |

Sorry to rain on your parade but this ban by Sonic Team is a mistake they made. The ban will not continue so our hopes and prayers haven't been answered yet.
Actually I was in a game last night, late last night and someone was using a hacked s rank spread needle with kings special on it, I wanted to puke and gouge my eyes out. sofa king lame. |
