title is self explanatory, if i buy a used version of GC PSO will it work online or does it have that serial key junk going on?

Yea I think you can. The game attaches the serial # to the memory card rather than the console. However you might still want to call sega and get the serial # reset. Since someone else who had palyed on that copy might have their gamesave still and could technically play on your account.

Calling sega should be no problem to get this changed. PSO for gc is a flourishing online RPG...and decent support for such a game is anyhting but a given.

If the person you buy the game form has used the serial number online, you will have to get his Sega Log In account information so you can buy a Hunters License.

This isn't the case on the Japanese version. On the JP version you just get the serial numbers and go online...at least thats what I'm assuming. I never tested it (but I know the US one is true)

I don't know but i think its still the same as the dreamcast and that is why i never got for DC version. Check with SEGA like Nikon said.. Smile Smile Smile
