Give us a little more information and we can probably help you.

1. Do you have dialup, DSL, or a cable modem?
2. Do you have a router?
3. Do you have two network interface cards (NICs) in your PC?
4. What game are you trying to play (MK or PSO)?

I really wish that the GCN had a web browser so that we could troubleshoot connections like this. At least if we had a browser we could find out if the connection was good without having to worry about whether or not the problem was the game.

you need two NICs, need a way to connect the cable to the cube Razz

Or if you didn't mind not having internet on the PC you could just directly plug the Cube into the modem(Or dial-up connection thingy). But it would get annoying switching cables back and forth
