Sapphard, the guy who created the original English code for EpIII, comes to me with the following information.

As you know, Para's english code let's you FSOD people (mine doesn't have this bug) and today he's going to be releasing gamecube code hacking software, with absolutely no attempt to block PSO from it. I've tried to talk him into blocking PSO, and I even offered to write the function to block PSO for him, but he still thinks they're too stupid to find the real enable code on their own. Although the software wont work with PSO out of the box, all they need is an enable for it, and it's all over. Thought I'd let you know ahead of time, since it's probably going to take them another few months to figure out how to do it. I did talk to Get, and if he ever get's around to sending me the files I need, since I dont have the game, I can try and make an Anti-FSOD code for the US version of Episode 3. Para wont do anything to fix his code, because he doesn't care Basically, if they figure out an enable code, we'll probably start seeing PSO Ver.2 codes (like NOL) again...sad news indeed, and its really a shame. Why can't these hackers go deconstruct some Mega Man, Mario or Sonic game, find some lost levels, and get credit? Instead, they make everyone's life a living hell with these codes....

Grub: Back in 2001-2002, cheaters pretty much took PSO by storm on DC and ruined it for everyone. But your right: A group of honest, legit gamers is out there. However, this means we can't play casually and have open games......

i was kinda thinkin that if we want to beat those ****** cheaters / hackers we better find up what there up to before facing it.
so i got me an account at THE hackers forum, where all hackers and cheaters meet up and share their new HOME MADE codes for the Action Replay. maybe you should check it too! anyway i foud out that if ur playing pso 1&2 or 3 in jp settings u can NEVER get fsodded by those ***** cuz theres this glitch cuz of the diff in jp and eng settings which makes ur game FSOD if a player uses a specific word select ( or shortcutted worde select in jp ) ill give u there forums adress so u can check out what the hackers are up to. http://************************** u must register to see it all though but this just gives a good indication boud whats on that forum.
