Hey everybody..It's been a while since i created a thread here...hehehe
But anyways as some of you know and may not know my PSO Hunter's License has expired..... The reason it expired is because well...my mom decided to cancel that credit card and she told me to change the SEGA account to a new credit card but I told her no. Now some of you might be saying.."WTF is this guy doing are you crazy DarkLink18????" I have my reasons why I did that. First of all, I barely even play now because I recenty graduated from high school and 3 days later I had to start a special program that they have here in NJ and its 6 weeks long. Next week is gonna be my last week. This program has really worked my a$$ off. Just last week I was going to sleep everyday at 5 or 6 am to wake up at 7 am. I've been really busy and just as I am writing this post I'm busy with two resume that I have to write that I don't even know how to start. My point is that with this program I've been really busy and haven't had time to even go out and I'm just thinking that with 5 classes that I will have when the Fall Semester arrives how the hell Am I gonna find the time to play? So the question is should I renew or should I forget about it and see how much time I'm actually gonna have when college starts? I really miss playing online(better said playing something, anything) and I miss being part of the community so what you guys think for those of you who finished or are going through college or anybody with some sort of advise or opinion.. (Man was this a long post, now to get back to figuring out how to do that damn resume) |

If your mom paying for your hunter's liscense or do you have to pay her back?
As far as time, once college starts real life starts to kick in. College....work...responsibilities. Yea your gonna be busy, but you shouldn't let this interfere with your ability to interact here at the website or with your hobbies. I have been through 4 years of college, I am 24 years old. Everyone gets...busy. It's a way of life. I would recommend that you not 'ditch' out on communities because you feel you won't have the time to interact with them. Seriously. Hang out, post when you can and game when you can. My best advice is to re-new your hunter's liscense if you can afford it, and just keep paying every month wether you play or not. This is what I do. So when I have time and I am able to play, I can flip on my gamecube, relax, and play some Phantasy Star Online. Sometimes I don't end up playing video games for a week or something. Either I am busy with work, or some new project or I am fixing something. Or just working on this website alone. I as well as others will understand if your busy. If your gone for 2 weeks busy on some project, thats fine. You can come back on a saturday, post some, and maybe even toss in some PSO. I hope people stick around and continue to interact here. I hope there is no pressure to be active ALL the time. People should treat online gaming and this website as a 'liesurely' activity that is done when one has free time. I remember for a few months I didn't play PSO AT ALLLL. I'm talking like 4 months. I barely played. Then I got tons of work done and at the start of the summer me and McRingRing were playing like everynight. I'm not going anywhere. I pay my hunter's liscense every month regardless of if I know I am going to play. It's the best way to go. We play online games when we have time, which is very hard to predict. The other night when me and ringring were one. We were chillin in the lobby waiting for link00seven. And this person goes, "Woe LordNikon? From OnlineConsoles?" And i'm like...."Yes thats me, who are you?" Turns out he was a gamer at the DC site by the name of Humar89. last time he posted was a long long long time ago, but I still remmebered who he was. Turns out he just 'stumbled' across us in the lobby. And noticed me talking. Kinda wierd huh? Well the point is to still interact even if you've been gone awhile or are busy. |

Right on. Just because you can't be on "all the time" anymore, it doesn't mean that you can't be on only when you have the time and/or you feel like it. It's not that big of a deal, I promise. Play when you can. That's what playing is for. It's why they call it "playing" rather than "working" or "studying." Right? |

Well guys..Thank you for your suggestions and I would sure as hell keep them in mind. I will be talking to my mother to give me the new credit card to renew my PSO account. I guess you guys have a point, I guess I was feeling kinda left out because I wasn't able to play anymore. Also hopefully she would give it to me because I just got my car too so hopefully it goes allright. I will be letting you guys know when I will be renewing my account so we could play. I also want to meet a bunch of people who joined the site not too long ago. I still remember when we held the first OC Event where I met Nikon, RingRing, LinkooSeven, and I'm pretty sure the one who organized was Satoshi. Hopefully I could do this event this week and I would be letting you know ahead of time guys. SO once again thank you for your advice. Anybody else who wants to post a thought or something you are more than welcome to do so... | |||

I say just get it, why not. It's not that expensive and it's better then having to bother signing up again when it expires and you wanna play.
Maybe it's just easy for me because it's been charging my dads credit card for 3 months and he hasn't noticed |

It's easy for me to keep, just because its only $12 every 3months for me. Granted I have to go threw the purchase process each time, I like that better then auto renew anyway.
JP version owns...lol. |

Whatever ship and block is we should go to like lobby 7 or the one with the fish tanks because I love those two. |
