Er... i'm not 100% certain but i believe someone posted he/she went to google but couldn't go to any other pages, which makes me think you cannot search the web on it

I've tried a couple things and cannot go to any pages besides, official site, PSOproxy and the unofficial upload site

Indeed, I once got to Google by telling PSO to use my machine as the DNS, then I ran a proxy server on my machine that pointed it to google.com. I did a search for "test," and I could see the results but I couldn't go to any of the pages. And some of the images on google were missing I believe. It's tricky, I tried it again sometime last week (before I left for vacation) and I had trouble getting it working again.

So you can put a link into the PSOproxy thing?

You can add any website?

No. I tried that too, but that didn't go. It seems to me that the browser stays on whatever server/domain it is sent to at first. If it's sent to the SEGA site first, it stays there. If it's sent to the PSOProxy (not the same as the proxy server I used), it stays there. If it's sent to google, it stays at google. What you could do, however, is try making your own pages for PSOProxy and, instead of putting links in there, put something else. Something like PHP and have it grab things from other websites, if possible (I'm an absolute n00b when it comes to PHP, so I dunno if that's even really possible). I've also experimented with trying to have PSOProxy grab other save files instead of the snapshot file, but it'd prove useless to begin with, as PSOProxy converts whatever it grabs into a png file ('tis png, right?). Sorry for the long-ish post, I get a little bored sometimes and like to push things beyond what their original intention was (PSO Browser and PSOProxy in this case).

I would imagine so, but there must be another way

I've tried a couple things to connect to OC, but alas it was futile

Well, what i want to know is, how the heck are you able to get a IP for a page like Yahoo!?

btw, I only have been able to access these Sites:

the HL site (Default)

http://www.sega.com

http://www.sonicteam.com/psogc/minhiro/index.html

I was able to access Sega.com, and the Minhiro Site by clicking on Ppls Profiles. Then Simply clicking on the URL....But it doesnt* work for sites like Yahoo.

I put my computer's IP into the DNS section of PSO's Network Settings, just like you would for PSOLoad/PSUL and/or PSOProxy. I then ran a proxy program on my computer that directed traffic from the Gamecube's IP to different locations. I'll mess around with it again, but the BBA and PSO are currently at my dad's house (as is the proxy program, I forgot where I downloaded it from).
