I just got my BBA and I tried a bunch of things to try to connect and nothing works. When I try to go to the pso website with the gamecube (manual setting), it says that the server cant find the URL. I use a cable modem and I connect it directly to the gamecube through the ethernet cable. When I try to connect using the manual settings I get to the part were the ship names are supposed to come out and it says: (no.102) You could not be connected to the server. Please check that your provider settings are correct before connecting. Line has been disconected.
I have tried using the automatic settings and it says that the DHCP cant find the IP adress. I live in NC and the cable company name is Charter. I need all the help I can get......... |

Have you unplugged your cable modem from the power source to clear it's memory of your computer? I was told to do it for 5 minutes, but newer modems don't seem to take as long. I'd do five minutes though, just to be safe. After the five minutes are up, plug the network cable into your BBA, then power on the cable modem. It should be good. | |||

I did this yestrday and it didn't work....
but since you post this I tried again today, and it worked!!!! 
Its wierd that it didnt work yesterday tho...... Well I'm coming back to PSO soon, I just need to renew my Hunter's accont. Thanks!!!! 
One more question, Do i have to do this everytime I wnna play? |

Well, I tried just connecting the ethernet cable to the gamecube and it doesn't connect to the server....
Its only been working if I reset the cable modem everytime I wanna play. Does this happen with certain modems? |
