ok, i was reading on PSOW that there is a new episode for PSOBB. and im wondering, will there be that same episode for PSO+? and if not, how are other PSO fans (like myself) who use a GCN and Mac going to be able to enjoy the entire stroy?

i guess theres not much i can do, but i just thought i would ask if any1 else feels this way.

Well I was also wondering If SEGA was going to do something about Episode V coming out on the GC. It would be cool if SEGA had the game Server Side and charge us say 20 bucks on our Credit Cards and basically play the game online but then again they could just release a Episode V disk for the same price for the people who can't play online but I doubt any of this will happen and I don't really want to pay another $50 for yet another PSO game that includes the other 2 Episodes and then start raising another character and I'm guessing you need to have a super-duper computer to run the game in. I just saw a movie BTW and it looks awesome the link is in PSOW. You should check it out. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

PSOBB has Episode 4, just like GC has Episode 3. Think of the Dreamcast players for a minute here! They get neither! Actually, the Dreamcast players don't even get Episode 2... The Xbox players don't get Ep.3 or 4 either. GC and non-Windows users aren't the only ones left out.

I'm quite frankly more interested in the new weapons they have rather then the new areas.

Maybe one day they'll release it for GC hopfully with the full team system too

ya see, insead of re-releasing all 4 games on one disk, y doesn't SEGA just put the new ep. IV on a disk. i mean we just got PSO+, which is a new and just released version of the game (which should hold our Duping friends for a while). and on top of that, Ep3 was on its on disk, y not ep 4?

and when it comes right down to it, it could just be an expansion that u have to have an existing character and all that, and you would have to be a certin level (lvl 100 for example). that would give ppl like me, who have never been that high) to get to lvl 100 and buy a new game.

also, the new areas dont intrest me as much as some of the new wepons. but only time will tell if sega will port this game to the cube.

and about the dreamcasters.... well, they had there run with PSO. i know, im one of them. but when it comes right down to it, if they want PSO (to the max) then they can get a GCN and everything would be peachy.

and xboxers? xbox is so hacked, no1 plays very often (i know, im one of them too). and u cant play w/ ppl all over the world on xbox live. those two reasons are y i think, that sega is not making anymore games for xbox (in the PSO realm). it kinda kills the whole foundation that was built on the DC. and i think DC players would like the game to be a direct port if it is ported.

but thats just me!

episode 4 is another expansion to the PSO universe that takes place x years after ep. 2. its only comming out for PSO:BB (pc) as of right now. but i would like it to come out for the GCN as well.

Er well it's not really another whole episode persay its more like....a minor addition. It's a new area, some new weapons and 1 new npc character. From what I have seen so far.

To be honest, GameCube PSO has gotten royal treatment. Like that fat white cat in the fancy feast commercial. We have had, and continue to get our PSO served to us on a silver platter.

GC gamers can play over dialup or broadband. There was a specific hybrid keyboard controller designed specifically for PSO. They have releases PSO ep1&2, then PSO ep3, and finally PSO ep1&2 plus. And have been adding new updates and also hosting c.a.r.d. tournaments all along the way. GC pso gets ALL the server updates before all other versions of PSO. And in the last few weeks they have added 3 whole brand new quests. And Halloween is just around the corner.

Yea Blue Burst is getting some new exclusive content. However I feel so far Sonic Team has been giving the GC pso community...which is it's largest pso audience....5 star treatment.
