Well If I remember correctly, you do a quest and after you beat it you get cake(s) the toppings or flavors are determined by your Hunter's License then you trade cakes with people and when you get 8 different cakes you take the cakes and talk with someone in P2 and then you get the Jack-O-Lantern.
