Ok some peopel are wondering why PSO World is just gone off the face of the earth.
I know why. Or atleast I have a pretty damn good theory: http://www.planetgamecube.com http://www.planettonyhawk.com http://www.planetquake.com http://www.planetunreal.com http://www.planetavp.com http://www.classicgaming.com What do all of these sites have on common? They are all part of gamespy. And guess who gamespy recently merged with? dun dun dunnnnnnn I G N Notice all the fucking obtrusive insane maniacle creazy fucking stupid lame idiotic psycho advertisements ALL OVER the fucking place suddenly at all gamespy related portals? Well you guessed it....IGN's advertisement based business model has now infected some of the most resource rich gaming portals on the web. Which is a real shame because....I go to planetavp regularly for the latest info on AVP2 (PC game).....and now I have to put up with this bullshit. Guess where pso-world has been hosted? http://www.planetdreamcast.com/psoworld/ Sticking these massivly huge ads into pso-world would be a huge problem. Since pso-world's portal interface doesn't make it very easy. They would have to completly redo the entire main page. Also this might not fly so well with the gamers that run pso-world. So at the moment they are either having to redo the code, or are moving the entire website. Or had it taken offline. I know I myself will go mental if I have to look at such bullshit when I go to psoworld to browse pso news. Seriously. LAME. IGN is now exempt from the flaming rule here at OC. Just like how nokia is excempt from the flaming rule at the DC-OC site. IGN is excempt from the rule here at the GC-OC site. IGN can suck my dick. |

This is stupid, lame and idiotic. Once again a certain comic comes to mind over this.... stupidy(To keep it nice)
I do hope something is done so that the actual gamers aren't just giving pure bullshit that they make smell like roses

I have news!
As of right now not even the PSOW admins (erupt, lolli, salad, tomeeboy) know why they are down. They're currently awaiting an email from Gamespy/IGN. I'll let you guys know as I find more info. |
