How long are the pso servers gonna stay up for gamecube? Thinkin about buying everything to get online i just dont wanna spend that kinda money and it goes offline.. | |||

Updates are still being done regularly. Meaning the servers are still going to be up for awhile. Besides, if they did shutdown the servers. ST would lose a huge profit. Since they're well over 5000 Hunter's Licenses registered(This is an educated guess) times that by $8.95 and you have a good profit. |

About a year ago sonic team reported to have 600,000 people registered across all regions on all platforms. Atleast a couple hundred thousand are registered for GameCube. BluntWrapTexas: GameCube PSO won't be going offline for a long time. Think about it. The only PSO that is currently offline is DC US pso. And thats because the players on it just were so out of control that it didn't make it worth it anymore for sega to leave them up. So if DC Japan and EU servers are still online, GC isn't going anywhere. Plus GC is still #1 in terms of subscribers. The only game that would take away from it at this point is Blue Burst on the PC. Even when Phantasy Star Universe comes out next year, GC PSO and PC Blue Burst will still be up and have tons of players. I probobly won't be able to afford PSU regularly. Its 13.00 a month :/ PSO ep1&2 is much more affordable for me, and I am sure it will be for many others as well. BluntWrapTexas: Do you plan on cheating when you get to GC PSO? Make a Legit char on your card atleast(you can have up to 4 on one memory card). I still don't play with cheaters, even if they are my friends. |

Ah.. I was just going by number of people online right now. I really plain forgot about people that still have their HL up but don't play all the time.

Me cheating? lol When we first met (before this site was even up)...... you,myself, and k0da online playing pso..... all we really had to play with was cheaters (DC PSO). I dont like to cheat in any games because that takes the majority of the fun away from the game to me... not challenging after u cheat in other words. If i was to get GC PSO it would be strictly legit. Back then if u wanted to play u really didnt have a choice but to play with people who used codebreakers or gamesharks and if we wanted to play a good legit game it would be just between close friends. I didnt even kno u could cheat on GC pso ....? is it kinda the same cheating as there was on DC pso? Im gonna go head and pick up the hardware and the game in the next upcoming months since i can see ur point about GC pso staying for a good long time and the fact that i can seee the money aspect of it. | |||
